Blog/In 2023, for the second year in a row, we have conquered the most important design award in the world, the iF Design Award. Among nearly 11 thousand entries from 53 countries, Casa Guararapes São Paulo has been given the award in the Interior Architecture category.
With a total area of 900 sqm, Casa Guararapes São Paulo includes a model making area, coworking, an auditorium, meeting rooms, a material library, panels for creating mood boards, and a gourmet space for events, as well as “Casa Múltipla”, a project that won the first edition of the Espaços do Futuro (“Spaces of the Future”) contest.
Casa Guararapes São Paulo is located at Avenida Brasil 637 - Jardim América. It is open from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In 2022, we were the first to win the iF Design Award in the industry of MDF boards. The Perspectivas Line is the result of a collaboration between Guararapes, Schattdecor, and Benjamin Grant, the author of Overview, a platform that shows the relationship between man and Earth through satellite images. Taken from a height of 700 thousand meters, two aerial pictures have been turned into decorating patterns: São Paulo and Floresta.
Since 1953, the world’s oldest independent design organization, iF – International Forum Design GmbH, headquartered in Hannover (Germany), has been organizing the iF DESIGN AWARD.
The iF label is globally recognized for its outstanding design services, and the iF DESIGN AWARD is arguably one of the most important design awards in the world.
